Interleukin-1B, Progesterone and Estradiol Levels of Amnoitic Fluids in the Term Pregnant Women

Abstract
|
|
|
We collected amniotic fluid from 79 pregnant women with or without labor. We have checked Interleukin-1β, progesterone, and estradiol in the amniotic fluid with RIA technique.
The level of interleukin-1βin labor group was 59.47pg/ml, and in nonlabor group 30.28pg/ml (p=0.0029). Progesterone was 191.0ng/ml in labor group, 132.1ng/ml in nonlabor group (p=0.06). Estradiol was 1273pg/ml in labor group, 1006pg/ml in
nonlabor
group (n=0.12).
It was concluded progesterone and estradiol was not different in both labor and nonlabor group, interleukin-1βin labor group was higher than nonlabor group.
